Indianish Recipes for Fourth of July

    Published: Jul 1, 2020 · Modified: Jun 1, 2021 by Alonna

Six recipes for family favorites, ice cream, burgers and more!
Indianish Recipes for Fourth of July! Family favorite summer recipes with an Indian-ish twist. There are flavorful side dishes, mains, and luscious desserts.
Delicious Fourth of July recipes that are family favorites with an Indian-ish twist. More flavor and healthier to boot. Happy 4th of July!

New Food for an Old Holiday

To my mind, food tastes better outside. And the summer foods like ice cream and burgers are special treats that I don’t eat every day. We’ve put together some suggestions for foods that are easy, health-ish, and full of Indian flavors. There is something for everyone—a colorful cabbage and carrot slaw with popped mustard seeds.

Go Indian-American with Indian-spiced sloppy Joes, or make a juicy turkey burger infused with fresh herbs. Finish up with strawberry ice cream with rose water or my new, but already popular cardamom almond crunch cakes, or both.

I am especially excited to have an all-American Indianish cookout with turkey burgers and a vibrant slaw on the side.

    Happy 4th of July eating!
