    Indianish Recipes for Fall

    Published: Sep 3, 2020 · Modified: Jun 1, 2021 by Alonna

Six recipes for family favorites, ice cream, burgers and more!
Indian-ish Recipes for Fall - Six recipes for family favorites, ice cream, burgers and more!
Treat yourself to summer's end family favorites: ice cream, sloppy joe's, salad, and more. All touched with the vibrant flavors of India and healthier too!

Have you started thinking about Labor Day cooking yet? I don’t know how you are feeling, but I, for one, am grateful to make it through this summer in one piece. What with one thing and another. So let’s celebrate with some comforting food with Indian flavors. If you don’t have a grill, all these recipes can be made without one. And all are familiar with just enough of a twist to keep everyone salivating.

You can make your own naan (even without yeast) or buy it as a smart shortcut for naan pizza, then use your oven or grill. Every recipe either requires or lends itself to being made ahead, so you can prep the meal as you have time. I love all of these recipes, but if you’ve never tried making your own ice cream (or even if you have!) the roasted strawberry ice cream is so easy and so good—a perfect end of summer celebration. Paired with the almond crunch cupcakes, and you will be in sugar heaven.

I hope you give these recipes a try, and I would love to hear from you.

    Happy cooking!

    ~ Alonna
