This year more than ever, we need to find comfort where we can. I have gathered eight of my recipes that give me comfort. They are a mix of more traditional Indian curries and International-Indo dishes that are satisfying and familiar but transformed by some Indian spices.
Some of my picks can be made in with just 10 minutes of prep (mango custard), and some, like my Goan beef curry, are a weekend cooking project. They all are as comforting as a big hug. If you haven’t given any of them a go yet, I encourage you to do that, and I would love to hear from you about how you make out.
